California in winter

I took a much needed trip to the west coast at the end of February. Two of my good friends moved from Asheville to San Diego during the pandemic in 2020. I’ve only seen them a couple of times since then, so I jumped at the opportunity to see them as soon as I could! This was my first solo trip since 2019. I used to take a solo trip every year, so I was a little nervous. A lot has changed since 2020, I moved to a new city that I only visited twice before, got sober, and decided to make a real go out of making a living with art! The latter hasn’t happened yet, but we're getting there! I didn’t do a lot of adventurous stuff, I pretty much drank a lot of coffee, ate a lot of really good food, and hung out in nature. I did make it to the San Diego Art Museum, and the Natural history museum. I took a lot of pictures from the plane, and a lot of pictures of trees. It was cool to watch the mountain ranges change from east to west coast from the plane. Definitely on my list of places I think I can live. It was a pretty quick, but good trip! There’s so much to see, I’ll have to go back when its warmer, and maybe head up to Los Angeles. Here's a random collection of photos I took during my trip :) I didn’t do much drawing, but I did come back with a lot of ideas!
